About me

Hi, I’m Alina — a mom of two, an English tutor, and the heart behind WOW MOM Worksheets Club.

This idea was born during my second maternity leave, when I started tutoring English to kids and adults online. I helped teens prepare for exams like GCSE, IGCSE, IB, IELTs, etc, supported adults who wanted to travel more confidently or make their presentations sound better, and guided young learners toward better grades. But the more I taught, the more I realized how overwhelming traditional grammar books could be — especially for those just starting out.

So, I simplified grammar. I created a set of clear, friendly explanations — not invented, but carefully shaped to be understandable, practical, and approachable for every level.

At the same time, something magical was happening at home. My son Leo reached the age where he could finally sit through and enjoy a full animated movie. The first one we watched together was Wall-E, and I saw how much it sparked his thoughts. I asked some of my students to watch it too — and their reactions blew me away. That’s when I began creating worksheets based on meaningful cartoons, tailored to their level of English and filled with real-life topics, vocabulary, and emotional reflection.

That idea grew. Elementary learners get drawing prompts and playful tasks. Beginners build vocabulary and grammar step by step. And for older learners, I introduced deeper stories like I’m Celine and Princess Diana, where students can reflect, analyze, and write — moving toward fluent expression and critical thinking.

At its heart, WOW MOM is not about worksheets. It’s about families. It’s about sitting down with your child, watching something meaningful, and talking about it — really talking. It’s about creating moments of learning and laughter, where kids feel heard, and parents feel connected.

We’ve lived in seven countries — from Ukraine to Canada, from Tunisia to Germany, and now in Austria. Through every move, one thing stayed constant: stories. Cartoons, characters, music, and color — they create bridges between language and heart. They help us grow, together.

So whether you’re learning English, teaching it, or just looking for a more intentional way to enjoy screen time — you’re in the right place.

Let’s learn together, one story at a time.
